Default Aggregate Tags - CS 2.1 Blogs

written by Rick Reszler on Monday, August 28 2006

I just uncovered this cool little feature and thought I would write about it. If you set a tag or tags in the Default Aggregate Tags box then only blog posts with those tags selected will show on the Blogs Aggregate page and also in the Blogs RSS feed as well.

You can manage this feature by going to the Control Panel->Administration->Blogs->Default Settings of your Community Server 2.1 site.

This is great for large sites or sites that only want certain topics to be posted and this way you don't have to worry or change the post setting to show or not show on the aggregate page, very cool indeed!

I give this YesYesYes up!

Every now and then when I think I know something about computers all I have to do is listen to you for a few minutes. I never know what you are talking about. :-)

That's just because most of my posts are tips for Community Server users. :-)
