Saying Goodbye to Windows Vista

Rick Reszler 11/20/2006 10:41:00 AM

About one year ago I was fortunate enough to be invited into the Vista beta program thru Connect, Microsoft’s private testers group and began my beta testing of Windows Vista the next generation of the Windows operating system.

One year later I find out that after all the hard work and troubles it was all just wasted time, apparently Microsoft decided I was not worthy of a free license to Vista because I had never submitted a formal bug. I did however except all customer improvement programs and submit any error reports that popped up and there were many!

So you can imagine my surprise when after putting in some much of my free time and effort into testing for them and exposing my privacy for there improvement programs that I did not receive an RTM license for Vista.

Sad but true, to be continued.......
