Updated Community Server 2.1 MetaBlog API
The Community Server 2.1 MetaBlog API Update is now available and is a recommended installation.
This update extends the MetaWeblogAPI service in Community Server 2.1, adding support for the newMediaObject method. It will allow images and other files to be uploaded to a blog using the MetaWeblogAPI web service. Many MetaWeblogAPI clients support this method, such as Windows Live Writer and BlogMailr.

Nice one Gary!
But really folks should upgrade to 2.1 because it's not just another version of Community Server it's also a much needed update to fix many bugs, after all it is still Community Server 2 as well. :-)
